seat screens
By Marc de Clerck on Monday, Aug 17th 2015 06:54Z

i flew several times on emirates 777 300 ER. All the pax seats are equiped with the so calles "ice" entertainement screens. Offcourse you can adjust the position of those flatscreens. If you put your hand at the right hand side under the screen...... be carefull not to burn your fingers. I am wondering what temperatures there are behind the flat screens in the headrest of the pax in front of you. I was very surprised and if you leave your hand there under that screen you will really burn your fingers. This happened on the flight from DXB to BRU 13 aug on flight. Very high temperatures in a closed area in the headrest for long time without cooling and temp rising. Next time i will reported thsi to the safety manager.

Smart decision to return to LHR. Who ever made the components for these 1st class seats needs to re-engineer their seats me thinks!

Not taking any chances after Swissair Flight 111.
